Darin Dickison, Flagstaff Real Estate Photographer

Born and raised in Sedona, AZ, photography has been an interest to me since I was a small child and it has become my passion for the last 20+ years.

darin-homeslandI have had the privilege of shooting many different venues, including the “Sedona International Film Festival”, “Zazoosh” sports company, “Action Media” sports company, “Peak Events” in Flagstaff, AZ, numerous marathons including “Sedona Marathon” and “Whiskey Row” Marathon and enjoy shooting landscapes, people and almost anything. Working with Sedona360, my work has made it on the cover of "Homes and Land Magazine".

My goal with all of my photography is to do my absolute best and have satisfied clients.

I believe photography demands perfection and quality equipment, so I use Nikon professional equipment exclusively. I also use several high quality lenses and several high-end accessories to help me capture outstanding photographs for my clients.

My real estate photography is done using HDR (high-dynamic-range) which combines multiple exposures into one single image in order to capture window views and to enhance the overall quality of every image. This photo editing process takes time, patience and careful precision but the excellent results are well worth the effort.

Looking forward to exceeding your expectations!

How Light Effects Color

by Michelle Lloyd, Sedona Paint Center

Nothing changes our observation of color more than light. We always recommend that one needs to look at colors under different lighting conditions. When putting a sample on the wall, it is important - whether interior or exterior - to apply in different areas and observe throughout the day.  The color is not going to appear the same in the different locations so it is the overall effect that one has to consider.
